Speech to SQL Generator — A Voice Based Approach

Recent developments in speech recognition and natural language processing have given rise to a new generation of powerful voice-based interfaces. In this proposed system, a user interacts through a voice-based interface to fetch the desired results from a database. The spoken query undergoes multiple processing steps — including a synonym table to convert speech into SQL keywords — arriving at the final query result. The system demonstrates strong performance for both simple and complex queries, with accuracy dependent on database complexity. This work validates that voice-based interfaces are an effective and accessible means of querying and retrieving data from stored databases.
